BDRHoF Benevolent Fund

In March 2016 the BDRHoF Benevolent Fund was created as a registered charity, no 1167197, this is being run as a separate entity from the British Drag Racing Hall of Fame Ltd.

The BDRHOF Benevolent Fund was established and registered with the Charities Commission to create a professional fund-raising platform to support injured racers & officials. The Fund’s aim is to provide financial assistance to deserving individuals to aid their recovery from misfortune.

Donations will also support the Air Ambulance Services that cover our permanent UK Drag Racing tracks. On several occasions already, Air Ambulances have provided emergency airlifts carrying injured racers to hospital, we believe that maintaining these services is a vital benefit to the Drag Racing community.

A bank account has been set up and a BT MyDonate internet fundraising page is live at:

Collections will be organised at meetings at three of the UK's Drag Racing tracks, Santa Pod Raceway, Shakespeare County Raceway and York Raceway, there will also be collections at BDRHoF events and through corporate giving by sponsors.

The first donation by the fund was made to the Air Ambulance in September 2017 at the Santa Pod Euro-Finals, further details can be found here:

Please give what you can afford to this worthwhile charity, all the money raised by donation goes to support injured racers, officials and the Air Ambulance Service.
